Therapy Sessions

The most powerful way in which I can help you is through one-on-one consultations. Sessions are held both online and in-person, so no matter where you live in the world, I am here for you.

I work with different modalities to support you in improving your mental health and wellbeing, and to move from dis-ease to radiance and vitality.

My approach is personalized to each person’s journey. My intention is to support you with practical methods that you can implement directly to start improving your life quality, now.

Therapy can be helpful at any juncture of life – whether you are experiencing mental health issues or not. This is a safe space where one can delve into any experience they may be having difficulties with (relationships, health, work, identity, existential questions, death, and so on) and obtain a deeper understanding of oneself.

Our work together can help with these topics and beyond:

  • Relationships
  • Communication
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Burnout
  • Bereavement
  • Dealing with chronic illness
  • Somatic pains unexplained by medical diagnosis
  • Managing addictions
  • Feelings of overwhelm

How can therapy help you?

Psychotherapy is an open, non-judgmental space to work through the challenges you are experiencing or simply to explore thoughts that you might not feel comfortable sharing with a friend or family member. Therapy expands possibilities: learning new coping skills, finding healthier ways to relate to your feelings, and developing strategies to managstress.

The purpose of individual therapy is to inspire change and to improve your quality of life through self-awareness and self-exploration, fostering a sense of empowerment and agency. You may focus on improving communication skills, creating better coping strategies, and making healthier choices. The development of fresh outlooks and gaining new insights yield tremendous benefits.

The relationship built between the therapist you choose and yourself is the key to your success. That’s why it’s important to make sure that who you’re working with is a right fit, both in terms of rapport and their knowledge (training) regarding your specific issues.

A few reasons you may benefit from therapy now:

  • You frequently feel overwhelmed
  • You feel a prolonged sense of helplessness and sadness
  • Your problems do not seem to get better despite your efforts and with help from family and friends
  • You are finding it difficult to carry out everyday activities: for example, you are unable to concentrate on your work, and your job performance is suffering as a result or you are finding it difficult to get through your normal working day
  • You worry excessively, expect the worst or are constantly on edge
  • Your actions are harmful to yourself or to others: for instance, you are drinking too much alcohol, abusing drugs or becoming overly argumentative and aggressive
  • You are having difficulty coming to terms with a traumatic event or loss
  • You are having relationship problems or are struggling to communicate with someone who is important to you.
  • You are struggling with any kind of obsessive or compulsive behaviours

Here’s what it looks like to work with me:

  • Our first session will mainly be a discovery session, where I will gather the important elements of your story and get to know you. We will evaluate your needs together and decide the most helpful path forward that is unique to your situation. This is also a moment to discover if we are a right fit to work together.
  •  The second session will typically be set a week or two after your first session.
  • The number and frequency of sessions for therapy is not known in advance. Each person’s needs and requirements are different. If you are in crisis and require more support you will need weekly sessions, while a session every two weeks is typical once you are feeling more stable and grounded.
  •  The duration of our work together isn’t set in advance. There will arrive a time when you feel that you have gathered enough resources to move on, perhaps setting up an occasional “check-up session” every once in a while in order to maintain a healthy mindset or to deal with a particular subject you need additional support with.
  •  Your empowerment is my priority. I believe each person has an infinite pool of strength, resources, and resilience within. Our work together is oriented on tapping into those and identifying paths for you to heal and create a better quality of life.
  •  A psychotherapy session is 50 minutes.
  • The price is 70 euros.
